Expectations for Students Remote Learning

I want to thank all the teachers, staff, and administrators who worked so hard today to prepare for the implementation of remote learning. The energy was very positive as everyone worked collaboratively to provide remote learning opportunities for our students. I am so proud of the effort and let's do this attitude that was exhibited yesterday.

Shortly you will receive an email notification from your child’s principal outlining details and times the respective buildings will be open today (March 17) so students and parents can pick up any needed materials necessary for the remote lessons. We are on track to begin remote learning on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

To assist your child with this transition to remote learning please find attached the “Expectations for Students” guide. We wish to stress that communication is essential to the success of remote learning. Please don’t hesitate if you have any questions about assignments or your child’s progress to please reach out to their teacher. Only with this communication can we improve this process and deliver quality assignments and feedback.

To help keep this vast amount of information and resources organized, we have created a COVID-19 resource website that will be launched tomorrow. I will be sure to share the link with you when this site is ready.

Thank you all for your support and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters.
