Both Ms. Prouty and Mrs. Flaherty meet with students individually and in small groups to address students' needs. Topics may include self-regulation, anxiety, bereavement, and making & keeping friends, just to name a few.
Mrs. Flaherty received her B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York in Potsdam, New York. She received her M.S. in Counselor Education from Alfred University. She also holds an Advanced Certification in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Conflict Resolution and Peaceable Schools from Lesley University. She lives in Hudson with her husband, Steve, their son Aidan and daughter Keira.
Mrs. Prouty received her B.S. in Human Services from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She earned her MEd in Counseling from Boston University. Additionally, Mrs. Prouty has been studying ways to help children manage anxiety. She lives in Salem with her husband, daughter and her dog, Biscuit Love.
