Voting & Elections

Voting Season is upon us! Please remember that we specifically designed Pelham High School so it could accommodate most voting needs and hold school at the same time. In order for this to be successful, we need the community’s cooperation.

Here are a few things to keep in mind.

1. Students with parking privileges at Pelham High School will NOT be allowed to park at school on voting days. There will be designated spots available at Pelham Elementary School, in the lot next to the trees, closest to PHS and the track. There will also be overflow parking available at the Town Hall parking lot. There are a limited number of student spaces at PHS for CTE and medical needs so please be sure to see Mr. Alexander in order to secure one of these spots if one is required.

2. Parking for voters will be in the South Parking Lot ONLY. This is currently the student parking lot; to the right when looking from the road. Voters will enter through the student entrance and proceed down the hall, turn right and head directly into the gymnasium for voting. Handicapped parking and accessibility are available at this lot and entrance ONLY.

3. Anyone parking in the North Parking Lot (to the left when looking from the road) will be required to walk around the building to access the voter entrance. This is required in order to maintain the safety and security of our students in the educational spaces. Therefore, DO NOT park in the North Parking Lot.

If you have any additional questions, please contact the SAU office at 603-635-1145.
